Halloween is the most anticipated holiday all year long for our kids, until it's over then they are excited for Christmas for two months, but the rest of the year is Halloween.
Jackson seems to figure out what he wants to be and he sticks with it. Gavin, on the other hand, can't make up his mind and then switches at the last minute. For example, Gavin started out in August saying he wanted to be Batman, then we were at a friend's house and he came up with the idea of a monkey, then a Power Ranger. By the time Halloween came around, we had borrowed a monkey costume from a friend, and we had the Power Ranger costume from the previous years and also a Batman costume. So here is what he did- for his preschool party he was the Power Ranger, for the school carnival he was the Monkey, and then for trick-or-treating he wanted to be Batman, then at the last minute decided to do the Power Ranger thing for trick-or-treating (which he was last year, so if you want to see pictures go to our archives back to last October). As you can tell he is a little indecisive. But I am pleased with how well all the costumes turned out. Camberlyn was roasting in her "Little Bunny Foofoo" costume (as the boys called it) and got pretty annoyed by the end of the evening- other than that we had perfect weather and a wonderful Halloween.

that is a great joker, scary. The other two look very cute! Sounds like you had a fun night.
Did you buy or make Jackson's costume? He looks creepy! It must be strange to see your little boy look like that (especially after seeing the movie). Glad you had a great Halloween.
Angie- we made the costume- well bought a purple blazer from the womens section at Savers and altered it a bit, dyed a wig we already had and did the make-up. The grand total: $10.00- can't beat it.
Wow, good job on the joker costume and that is awesome that it only cost $10. You are creative. Camberlyn and Jackson look really cute too. It sounds like Gavin is like me, I can never make up my mind. How fun to be 3 different things for Halloween!
