Personality

Isn't is funny how each person has their own personality.  I was thinking today about how I thought my 2nd child would look like my 1st when he was born. Nope.  They each have their own look and with that comes their own little character.  I could have 20 children and each one be their own person with individual looks and behaviors, how many different personalities are there?
Here are each of my children's personalities in a nut shell as of March 2010:

Jackson- Definitely a first child.  Thinks he is old enough to be just like mom and dad.  Debates about EVERYTHING.  He's pretty easy going with his friends and brother.  He loves drawing and basketball.  When he is in trouble he likes to leave little notes of apology around the house "hoping" he will get his punishment revoked.  He is starting to babysit the younger kids for us (for short amounts of time) and he becomes so responsible when put in that position.  He'll tuck the kids in, make sure books are read, and teeth are brushed.  All he wants more then anything is to be the center of attention and to talk to anyone who will listen (he'll go on for hours if you don't stop him).  He always needs reassurance that we love him and are proud of him.

Gavin-  He is so kind-hearted and sensitive.  If I threaten to leave someone at home because they aren't ready on time Gavin gets very worried and upset.  He does not like to be the center of attention when we are around other people, but at home he'll completely let loose.  He still won't get in front of primary to say a prayer or scripture- we're working on it.  He likes to learn to read, but not for long periods of time in one sitting.  He's getting it though.  The first thing he does when he gets home from school is change into basketball shorts and no shirt.  He'll stay that way until we need to go somewhere.  His favorite thing to do every night at the dinner table is to go cross-eyed and look at all of us to get us to laugh; he does it so much I am worried they really might "freeze" that way. :)  He needs hugs and kisses every night or he can't sleep.  At 6 years old he still likes to cuddle.

Camberlyn- She is such a girly-girl.  She will follow me around all day wanting to help with everything I do.  She'll put shirts on hangers and help me mix things for dinner.  But because of this she thinks she is a big enough girl to do everything herself (including pouring her own milk).  She has started to talk back and get upset if it's not her way.  She talks all day long as well and has a wild imagination.  Just yesterday she randomly started a story, "Once upon a time you were an elephant (talking to mom) and you ate food in my closet..."  Later on in the day she sat on her little people bus and scooted around as if she was driving all over the house; she had on sunglasses and a purse and we were going grocery shopping to Wal-Mart.  This little girl makes me laugh, but boy can she be trouble.  Her newest saying, "It's going to be so much perfect."
