We had the privilege of having Frank's parents in town before school started. They have been to Utah so much it is hard to try and find new things they haven't done or new places they haven't visited. Well... we decided Lagoon was just the place to take them.
I was thoroughly impressed by how many rides they went on. I think Papa (Frank's dad) went on everything (including Colossus and Wicked) and Nana went on everything that wasn't rollercoaster related, although she did brave the old wooden rollercoaster. It was such a fun day. But we were exhausted by the end.
They also spent a day visiting other relatives who live in Tooele, then they went to Idaho to spend time with their other son, Michael, and then came back to our house for another day.
Also, what is a visit from Nana and Papa without going to Chuck-A-Rama (their favorite buffet)?
Here are a few pic's from Lagoon (unfortunately this is all we have).
Just a side note: Camberlyn really did not like anything that wasn't a kid ride, but she felt bad being left out. So she wanted to go on everything she possibly could: like space scrambler, tilt o whirl, music express, log ride, and the water luge. She came off most of them saying, "I didn't like that one." But she was brave and still did them all.

That is awesome that Frank's dad went on everything. The Wicked scares me and hurts my neck. There's nothing kids love more than doing fun things like this with their grandparents. I can't believe you still were able to do everything you did during their visit...no one would have ever known you were burning the candles at both ends.
Lagoon is always fun! So proud of Camberlyn for wanting to go on all those big rides. Glad you had a fun visit with grandma and grandpa!
Looks like a fun time! Who doesn't love a visi from Grandma and Grandpa!
